Update on COVID-19 Restrictions, the Local Church & District Ministries March 28, 2020
Today we continue to affirm that regardless of our circumstances, Jesus is Lord. The church is in its finest hour as messengers of hope. We hear tremendous reports of the Church on mission. God is helping us! In light of the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in light of directives of our governor, with unified voice the District Advisory Board and the District Superintendent ask that:

Through April 24, 2020 all Virginia District Churches of the Nazarene continue to operate using various digital and electronic platforms, fulfilling our mission for Christ; and,

Through April 24, 2020 per the request of the Governor of Virginia, all Church in-person gatherings are limited to 10 people or less (clergy included), in effect, temporarily closing our facilities (this applies to indoor and outdoor events); and,

Through April 24, 2020 all District in-person events through be rescheduled to a later date, be held electronically, or canceled.

Until the authorities give us an all clear to return to using our facilities, we urge the church to fulfill its mission in every way possible, worshiping, serving, and with compassion making Christlike disciples in Virginia and beyond.

Love the Privilege of Serving with you,
J. Phillip Fuller
