TOGETHER WE HAVE IT ALL

“The gifts He gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. We must no longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown about by every wind of doctrine, by people’s trickery, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming. But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body’s growth in building itself up in love” Ephesians 4:11-14 (NRSV)

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light” 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

WE MAY NOT HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER, BUT TOGETHER WE HAVE IT ALL!!!

HCF Mission:

TO MAKE CHRISTLIKE DISCIPLES BY REFLECTING CHRIST’S LOVE IN WHAT WE SAY, WHAT WE DO, AND WHO WE ARE TO THE WORLD AROUND US

HCF VISION:

TO BE A COMMUNITY – NOT JUST PART OF THE COMMUNITY OR A FIXTURE IN THE COMMUNITY; A COMMUNITY THAT LIVES, LOVES, AND SERVES ONE ANOTHER AND THOSE “IN OUR WAY ON OUR WAY”. A COMMUNITY THAT SHARES AND LIVES OUT UNITY, COMPASSION, AND ONENESS – WHERE HOME IS WHO WE ARE, NOT WHERE WE ARE. A COMMUNITY WHO IS A SHINING CITY ON A HILL DRAWING IN, WELCOMING, AND DISCIPLING THE LOST, THE LONELY, THE HURTING, THE BROKEN, AND THE NEEDY.
